Sustainability on the road: our collaboration with Brouwer Logistics and their first electric truck

At GB, we are deeply committed to sustainability, and together with Brouwer Logistics, we’ve taken an important step forward: the introduction of their very first electric truck, made possible in part by GB. Last week, the new truck hit the road for its inaugural journey, delivering GB products in an eco-friendly way. This truck represents not only an innovation in transport but also a tangible contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions and improving quality of life in the Netherlands.

Green logistics in action

Brouwer Logistics' vision for innovation and sustainability perfectly aligns with GB's ambitions. Koos Los, CFO of Gebr. Bodegraven, explains: “This investment is a logical next step following our earlier sustainability initiatives, such as zero-waste production, installing solar panels, and heating our factory with residual heat from the production process. It’s also a great example of collaboration between family-owned businesses in our region.” By deploying electric vehicles, we enable the sustainable delivery of GB products and reduce our ecological footprint—a shared vision for a cleaner future.
