Based on our extensive experience in providing anchoring advice, both on-site and through construction drawings, we have decided to compile this knowledge into a single document. In serial residential construction, similar situations frequently arise. We have collected these, complete with anchoring advice, construction details, key considerations, and installation instructions.
Smart Upper Anchoring for HSB Facade Elements
HSB facade elements are increasingly being used to quickly and efficiently enclose the facades of concrete or sand-lime brick shells. GB has developed an innovative anchor for the connection between the upper lintel of the facade element and the shell floor.
Evolution of HSB anchoring
GB has been offering solutions for the anchoring of HSB (timber frame) elements for years. Due to changes in construction methods and the feedback we receive from end users, we continue to develop our products so that they can be used even smarter. A good example is the anchoring for attaching HSB cavity walls to a concrete floor. We are happy to take you through its evolution.
