We use galvanised wire to produce wall plate anchors and wall plate anchors, among other things (VD-1). This pre-galvanised wire is then processed into a finished product in accordance with NEN-EN 10346. The cutting edges are protected by the cathodic action of the zinc. The wire variant VD-2 is also processed by GB. This is appropriate for up to environmental class 2.

We almost exclusively use steel grade 1.4362, a type of stainless steel with high mechanical values, for our cavity anchors. Because of the relatively high percentage of chromium (around 22%), this type of stainless steel is slightly magnetic while also providing high-quality corrosion protection. This is important given the environment in which the cavity anchors are used. Cavity anchors in exterior walls exposed to rain and frost must meet Eurocode 6 requirements for climate class MX3.2.
